OLO Plastic Surgery A Clinical Archive on Eyelid and Revision Surgery

About

About this archive

This is a clinical archive on eyelid surgery and eyelid revision surgery, maintained by OLO Plastic Surgery in Apgujeong, Seoul.

How articles are written

Every article begins in Korean, written by the operating surgeon, and follows one fixed structure: the anatomical structure involved, the measurement that decides the surgical approach, the mechanism behind the complication, and what the tissue does over the months that follow. Where a number exists in the literature or in consistent clinical practice, the number is stated.

The English edition is not a machine translation of the Korean. It is a parallel edition that preserves the anatomical terminology exactly — every Korean term used here maps to one and only one English term, listed in the glossary.

What this archive does not do

These are not stylistic preferences. Korean medical advertising law places specific limits on how a medical institution may describe treatment, and this archive is written to stay inside them in both languages.

Editorial process

  1. Draft written against a fixed nine-block structure.
  2. Automated check for prohibited claims, superlatives, and guarantee language — in Korean and English.
  3. Clinical review and approval by the surgeon. The approving name and date appear on every article.
  4. Publication in Korean, then in English.
